He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you will be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Men’s Ministry

The LCBC Men’s ministry is just beginning and ready to welcome men of all ages! LCBC men have met for breakfast, devotions, and spring cleaning several times and are ready to take on new opportunities to fellowship and serve. This is a ministry that will allow all men, old and young, to grow closer as they grow closer to God. If you’re ready to jump in and build this ministry with us, please contact Pastor Mark via email.

Youth Ministry

Youth ministry has and will always be a training ground for future leaders of the church, which is one reason this ministry is so vital. Another foundational belief is that our youth need a safe place to learn about the Bible and ask questions about it, as well as about their concerns and their struggles. A growing and vital youth ministry becomes their place to grow closer to God, and to do this with others their age. When we consider all of the choices that face our youth everyday which impact the path of their lives and recognize how a strong relationship with God can change those paths, the importance of youth ministry at LCBC becomes obvious.

In April 2019, LCBC voted to hire Cole and Katie Linder as their Youth Directors - without a doubt, an answer to our prayers! Cole and Katie bring a great deal of energy, youthful insight, and heart for youth.

For more information on LCBC Youth Ministry contact Cole Linder or contact the church directly.

Women’s Ministry

The LCBC Women’s Ministry grew out of and was inspired by our mission to San Marcos, Nicaragua. Currently, the ministry includes quarterly devotionals held on Saturday mornings open to women and girls of all ages, several small-group Bible studies which include a group focused on moms seeking to grow their relationship with God, and coordinated with a teen-girl Bible study. Moms and daughters are able to participate in the same Bible study, allowing them to share what is being studied, but each within their own small group. This is a growing ministry and we welcome you! LCBC also has a strong American Baptist Women (ABW) group which has existed since 2000 and is open to women of all ages. This is a mission-minded group that meets monthly from September to June and their outreach includes such missions as wrapping bandages for the Congo and Weirton Christian Center.
